Bali Kimono - Jepun

Composition: 100% Cotton. Handwoven into a blanket. 

The fabric used for the Kimono creation is a vintage Ikat blanket, which had been traditionally created on the Island of Sumbawa for ceremonial use. These pieces are rare, since they are of a huge size. They are handwoven in a beautiful pattern and colorway. Since they have been created many years back, we can not determine the exact pigments, that had been used for dying. 

Kimonos are one size fit, 127 cm in length.

The safest way to wash your Kimono is hand wash it with cold water and gentle soap. Important advice: Always use cold water to hand-wash your Kimonos and rinse them gently. Hot water is a big no-no! It could cause shrinkage and may also cause the fabric to roughen.
